The Munajat night organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) continued on Saturday night. It invited the ministry’s workforce and the public to get closer to Allah the Almighty and seek forgiveness to spare the people and nation from the worst of COVID-19.
Besides Munajat, the virtual gathering also saw Istighfar, recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Zikir, Selawat, Asmaa Ul-Husna and Doa.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Legislative Council (LegCo) member Yang Berhormat Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof were present.
The religious gathering began with the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah and ended with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
The people are urged to be vigilant in the fight against COVID-19 and pray that the Sultanate is protected and under the blessings of Allah the Almighty.
